| The change in expansion pressure attributable to the temperature of liquid is conveyed to the Bourdon tube inside the indicator by means of a lead wire and the action, magnified. Thus, the measured temperature is indicated by dial. The metal thermometer is very robust and easy to handle with a big dial with equal scale divisions. This feature assures users of easy reading and accurate indication of the measured value. The accuracy of the liquid indicating thermometer is the highest of metal thermometers.
