| The gauge is an indicating thermometer designed and manufactured by taking advantage of the relations existing between the vapour pressure of volatile liquid and temperature. Therefore, it is of the inequal scale division type. The change in the atmospheric temperature in the midway of the conduit does not exert influence over the gauge. However, the difference in level between the indicator and bulb exerts an influence over it sometimes. Accordingly, if there is a big difference in level, designate it. With electric contact thermometer can be made. |
